This program is for boys who have completed third grade (or are age 10). A boy may begin working on the Webelos badge as soon as he joins a Webelos den. This is the first step in his transition from the Webelos den to the Boy Scout troop. As he completes the requirements found in the Webelos Scout Book, he will work on activity badges, attend meetings led by adults, and become familiar with the Boy Scout requirements-all leading to the Arrow of Light Award.

Hello to everyone.  Den 5 is now officially the Spino Patrol.  After much discussion, the boys picked out this very unique name, so “Beware”.  We had special patches and hats made with a scary looking spinosaurus- we look awesome.  The group is off to a good start.   We met in June and began working on the Craftsman, Artist, and Aquanaut activities.  The boys made coat racks, planes, baseball racks, clay sculptures, and artist portfolios.  Everyone did such a great job and had fun too. 

We welcome new scout, Jason to our patrol.  Ryan also joined our group this year- so now we are 10 strong.  It’s going to be a fantastic year as Webelos.
