This
program is for boys who have completed third grade (or are age 10). A
boy may begin working on the Webelos badge as soon as he joins a Webelos
den. This is the first step in his transition from the Webelos den to
the Boy Scout troop. As he completes the requirements found in the
Webelos Scout Book, he will work on activity badges, attend meetings led
by adults, and become familiar with the Boy Scout requirements-all
leading to the Arrow of Light Award.
Hello!
We are Bear Den
6.
We love
scouting!
We are National
Den Award achievers therefore we have Den meetings
and outings during the summer months as well as the
school year.
It not only
gives us all more time for fun, but allows us to get
a head start on working on badge requirements.
We have a great
and enthusiastic group of parents as well as boys.
Nothing happens without parental help, and
commitment. It sets such a great example for the
boys, and knowing their parents are there for them,
makes them feel good too.
Please ask any
one of us if you'd like more details on Scouting. It
is not all about camping. It is about family, and
doing things together, and getting the boys to do
things on their own.
The badge
requirements give them credit for every day things
they do, and allows them to branch out into things
they may want to try but would have never had the
chance otherwise.
We are proud of
our Den and every boy in it!
