 Letter from the Cubmaster:

 

Welcome to Pack 580!! My name is Bill Friend. I am 47 years old, and local small business owner. My wife Marian and I are proud parents of three beautiful boys.

 

Over the years I have served in many youth organizations, including Little League, NJB, 4-H, and youth ministries. I have served BSA for the past 7 years as a Den Leader, committee member, and Assistant Cub Master. Without exception this is the finest youth organization I have ever been associated with. The leadership resources available from our local and national units at BSA are plentiful. The requirements are strict, and the opportunities for the boys are endless. If values like honesty, loyalty, duty, tolerance, and respect are important to you as parents, then you are at the right place.

 

At Pack 580 we hold these values very high and take full advantage of all national and local recourses. Orange County BSA has several first class facilities that you can check out on line at www.ocbsa.org . All of our den leaders and committee members are BSA YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINED. Many of our leaders are constantly pursuing and advancing their training to bring the best program to the boys that we can. The programs are super fun and the scope of the programs can target many different interests.

 

I look forward to meeting you, and together we can watch your young man grow into a responsible member of this community and this great nation.
